We provide the following with excellence:
You can add to the physical security provided by conventional keys, locks and hardware by utilizing residential electronic and biometric access control systems.
Access control is the combination of hardware and software that controls access to entry points of a secure structure or property. It can be used for commercial or residential applications. The purpose of these products is to manage, restrict or grant access of individuals to specific areas.
These security solutions were first most popular in commercial applications, but have gradually become more frequently in use in residential applications due to their modern aspects and their convenience.

An example of access control is the automated gate for a residential community that will usually have one side for residents and one side for guests.
The resident side may open automatically when the system detects a special sticker or access card inside the vehicle. That's called a proximity reader. On the guest side you may have a keypad where your guests would enter a code that will either open the gate or dial the homeowner to have them send a code to the gate.
Similarly, gates may be automated for single family residences for the driveway or pedestrian entry gates. Access to the property can be given through card or fob readers for the property owners and their families and domestic staff. Guest access can be granted through one-time-use codes or by the owner when called by the guest via an intercom or videocom at the point of entry.
Mulholland also has pioneered the use of biometric readers in commercial and residential applications. Biometric identifiers are often categorized as physiological versus behavioral characteristics. Physiological characteristics are related to the shape of the body. Examples include, but are not limited to fingerprint, face recognition, palm print, hand geometry, iris recognition, and retinal scan. Behavioral characteristics are related to the pattern of behavior of a person, including but not limited to gait and voice.
Intercoms and videocom placed at the entrances allow guests to call to the occupants of the house. The owner of the home receives the audio and or video input at control panel(s) within the property or through a smart phone or tablet, allowing or restricting access.
